Ellie and Andrew’s story warms my heart like no other. Their relationship is so special and from spending the day with them, I could tell how beautiful their love is. These two met through a mutual friend and their responses to each other were a bit different! Ellie saw Andrew as a typical frat boy and thought “ehhh maybe not.” And Andrew saw Ellie as a SMOKESHOW, which she is! As they got to know each other, God placed it on Ellie’s heart to invite Andrew to her church. Andrew accepted as they were dating at this point and had an interest in this, even though he had been running from God. Ellie encouraged him to go with her and luckily he did. As they grew closer to God, they also grew closer to each other and Andrew proposed a year later on the beach at sunset. They decided to take their relationship to the next step with God as the center and you can truly tell that when you look at them. Their love is so beautiful and the way they respect and encourage each other just makes me cry! During their vows, they both said “you, me, and JC” and that is exactly how I pray their relationship stays forever, with Jesus in the center. WOW I am so blessed to have met these two and I can’t wait to see their connection continue to grow and strengthen as they do life together!

 

Also, Andrew calls Ellie “my champion” and it’s literally the cutest thing EVER!
