Hey y’all! I thought I’d make a fun blog post with some stuff about me and my life! If you want to know more about me or maybe you are interested in booking with me and want to know me a little more, keep reading!

Ok so as you probably know by now, I’m Laurel! I’m a 21 year old wedding photographer based in Phoenix, Arizona. I’m obsessed with dogs, rom coms, and hot chocolate in the summer LOL. I’m incredibly passionate about traveling, I would love to travel all around Europe and the U.S.! I have been to almost every state and I have been to England and it blows my mind that there’s so much more to explore! I love being in a new city and atmosphere, it honestly makes me feel the most free and happy! Traveling brings me so much joy and I know God has big plans for me to explore! Speaking of God, I am a believer! I love Jesus and He is the reason I have this business and can do what I do! God has taken my business so far and I am so dang grateful for that.

 

If you are an animal lover like me, you’ll love this part hahaha. I have two dogs and one hairless cat! They are my babies and my whole world! I have always loved animals and random fact, I used to want to be an animal cop to help save animals in need! My dream is to have a Boston Terrier rescue but we’ll see how that plays out hahaha.

I am an enneagram 2w3! If you aren’t familiar with the enneagram, it’s like a personality test! Being a 2w3 means I love people, helping others, and I am very goal oriented! I am always a shoulder to cry on and someone you can vent to. I can also be a bit competitive and passionate about my job! My Myers Briggs personality type is an ENFJ which means kinda the same thing, but also shows how extroverted I am, which is very true.

I live with my boyfriend, Nick! We have been together for almost 3 years now and started dating in high school! We met through high school theater and became friends. We slowly started to become more as we got to know each other better and on the last night of one of our plays, he asked me out! I had sooo many butterflies. He really is my best friend!

I started photography my junior year in high school. I knew I wanted to one day dive into couples photography but of course it’s hard to find a couple in high school that stayed together long enough LOL. I shot seniors and portraits mostly and eventually got into couples and my business took off! I am officially going full time in 2021 and I seriously can’t wait!

 

This job has been the biggest blessing for me and has given me more than I could have ever dreamed. I’m so lucky that I’m able to do something I’m so passionate about. God has given me the best outlet for my creativity and passions and made a job for me all in one and I can’t believe it. If you are wanting to dive into photography or anything creative or not the standard job, DO IT. Follow your passion and work hard. It’s so worth it! Even through the struggles of starting a business, you will be so glad you chose this route because soooo many good things come out of it.
